We have revised the entire user interface in order to optimize playing on mobile devices or in many cases to make it possible at all. Now it is possible to play stein.world either in the browser on your own smartphone or, if the smartphone browser allows it, to install stein.world as a Progressive Webapp (PWA). This patch is also an important step to make stein.world available as an independent Android or iOS app in the future.
We've added a bunch a new content to the Waldenbach Area including repeatable quest, quests with inventory space as a reward, new enemy types and more. Numerous bugfixes also made it into the patch, so check out the patch notes for more details.
Stein.world finally went cross-continental! With our new servers our friends from Asia and the US will now be able to enjoy the game with a reasonable ping. And the best part is: all progress will be kept across every region. All information are as always in the patch notes.
The final server improvements before the big multi region patch have now made it's way into the game, alongside with some bug fixes and improvements to the UI. Check the patch notes for details.
Stein.world is now on it's way to become playable outside of Europe. We've added the first wave of server improvements in order to enable multi region support in the future. We've also fixed some bugs and added minor UI improvements.
